How to JOIN a Zoom Meeting from a Webex Conference Room

This guide will walk you through joining a Zoom meeting from a Webex Conference Room using the Navigator tablet.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. On the Navigator tablet, touch the Call button

    • This will open the dialer interface for entering meeting details.

  2. Enter the Zoom Meeting Number followed by @zoomcrc.com

    • Input example: 12345678901@zoomcrc.com

    • You can find the Zoom Meeting number in the vendor’s Zoom invitation email.

  3. Touch the Call button to start joining the Zoom meeting

    • Once you initiate the call, you may have to wait for the Zoom Host to admit you into the meeting.

Additional Tips

  • Mute on Entry: If the Zoom Host has enabled the “Mute on Entry” feature, follow the on-screen instructions to unmute yourself. Typically, you will:

    • Press 1 followed by 2 on the Navigator tablet.

    • After this, you can use the Mute/Unmute button on the tablet as needed throughout the meeting.

  • Make sure the Webex system is connected to the internet and properly set up for external calls.

  • If you experience any issues joining the Zoom meeting, verify that the meeting number and domain (@zoomcrc.com) have been entered correctly.
