Steps to Share a Password-Protected WebEx Recording

Follow these instructions to share your WebEx recording:

1. Log into WebEx

2. Access Recordings

  • In the left pane, click on Recordings to view your list of recorded meetings.

3. Share the Recording

  • Locate the recording you wish to share.

  • Click on the Share icon next to your recording.

4. Set Sharing Preferences

  • Select the option Anyone with the link can view this recording. This will allow public access to the recording.

5. Copy and Save the Link

  • Click on the Copy icon to copy the recording link.

  • Click Save to finalize the sharing settings.

6. Distribute the Recording Link

  • Paste the copied recording link into an email, a notepad, or a posting platform.

  • Send the email or post the recording information to your intended audience.

Attendee Instructions for Accessing the Recording

For attendees to access the recording:

  1. Access the Link:

    • Copy the recording link and paste it into a web browser, or click on the link provided in the email.

  2. Enter Password:

    • Enter the password provided by the host.

    • Click Playback to access the recording.

  3. Play the Recording:

    • Click the Play button to start viewing the recording.
