In regard to Internet Web Filtering, the FortiGuard Labs Internet Database service is used to categorize sites you may try to access via FSCJ networks.  The following categories are blocked by FSCJ.

• Plagiarism

• Other Adult Materials

• Pornography

• Peer-to-peer File Sharing

• Malicious Websites

• Phishing

• Spam URLs

If you find that a website you are trying to access has been miscategorized or is being initially blocked because it is new, you may request a URL review by submitting a helpdesk ticket at help.fscj.edu or by calling the Helpdesk directly at (904)632-3151.  Please include the full URL of the site you are trying to access in your Helpdesk request.

You also have the ability to review the URL yourself by going to https://www.fortiguard.com/webfilter

1. Open a browser and go to https://www.fortiguard.com/webfilter

2. In the Search URL field, enter the site URL which you are trying to access.

3. Your search will return which category the site belongs to.

4. Open

   

   You can either have FSCJ review the site and add it to a clear list by submitting a ticket to Helpdesk, or you can also click on the Request a Review to have FortiGuard Labs review the site as well and update the category in their database.
