Canvas Access

Students: Canvas Access

To access Canvas, students must first apply for admission. To apply for admission, students may go to http://www.fscj.edu and click the Apply Now link. The username and password will be provided on-screen when finalizing the application process.

Once the student has been admitted, this the criteria that must be met in order to access to Canvas:

  1. Canvas access will be granted approximately eight hours after a student has completed class registration.

  2. Instructors must also publish courses for students to view the course. If you are still unable to view your course, reach out to your professor.

Not all instructors use Canvas, so first ensure they are using it, and then make sure that this criterion has been met.

If the criterion above has been met and you still cannot access Canvas:

  1. Make sure you are accessing Canvas through your myFSCJ account.

  2. Try using a different browser (Safari, Firefox, Edge or Chrome only)

  3. Delete your browser cache and temporary files.

  4. Check your browser settings that may impact access such as accepting cookies, delete auto-filled password and disabling active plugins.

If the above have all been exhausted and you still cannot log in, please contact the Technical Service Desk at 904-632-3151 and explain the steps you have taken.
