Faculty & Staff: 2-Factor Enrollment for Personal Email Addresses

** Please note that this knowledge base article only applies if you have previously registered a personal email address with IT. Our vendor, OneLogin, does not allow self-service registration of a personal email address for employee accounts during enrollment at this time. Due to the fact that OneLogin does not provide adequate messaging to inform you that you do not have an email address registered, we do not present the factor to all employees.

 

Begin Setup:

 

Open a browser window on your computer and visit my.fscj.edu. After entering your username and password, you will be presented with the option to Begin Setup. Choose [Begin Setup] to enroll in 2-factor authentication.

** You want to make sure you have your personal email open before you click on “OneLogin Personal Email ” as the code that is being emailed is time-sensitive and expires quickly

 

Continue with enrollment by selecting OneLogin Personal Email from your computer browser, from the screen shown below

 

 

An email link will be sent to the personal email address you provided IT; you will need to keep the ‘OneLogin Personal Email’ tab open while you log into your personal email account through a new tab.

 

Once you have clicked the link, it should direct you to a success page where you can close out from the email tab and navigate back to the my.fscj.edu login page and you will be logged in.
