Step 1: Pick Up the Handset
Pick up the phone handset.
Step 2: Access the Voicemail System
From a College Phone:
Press the messages button or dial 8960.
From Outside the College:
Dial (904) 357-8960.
Step 3: Enter Your ID and PIN
Enter your credentials:
When prompted, enter your ID (your phone extension) and initial PIN (12345).
You will then be prompted to create a new PIN and confirm it.
Step 4: Access Setup Options
Enter setup options:
At the prompt, enter 4 for setup options.
Step 5: Change Your Greeting
Select the option to change your greeting:
Select 1 to change your greeting.
Step 6: Record Your Greeting
Initiate the recording:
After listening to your standard greeting, select 1 to change it.
Step 7: Record Your Message
Record your greeting:
When you hear the tone, record your greeting. Press the pound (#) key when finished.
Step 8: Review and Finalize
Review your recording:
After reviewing your recording, you can choose to rerecord by pressing 1.
If you are satisfied with your greeting, press * or simply hang up.
What to Expect Next
Your voicemail setup is now complete. You can now receive and manage your voicemail messages.
