Faculty & Staff: How to Securely Erase an iPad
Why it's important: Each iPad is setup to be used as a personal device, which includes entering personal information and passwords. When someone is returning or no longer using the device, it's imperative the device is securely erased to protect both the individual and the data that is on the iPad.
Users may want to "backup the iPad" prior to erasing it for future use.
