WebEx: Connecting an unscheduled TelePresence Conference Room Endpoint to a WebEx Meeting

Call directly into the meeting address:

1. After the meeting has started or after the host has logged in, from the Touchpad, dial XXXXXXXXX@fscj.webex.com (where XXXXXXXXX is your meeting number.  For example, 123234345@fscj.webex.com).

2. Follow directions noted on the TelePresence screens.  They may prompt you to either input your Host Key, found in the meeting details, or input attendee ID found in your 'Call In' information pop-up box.

 

Join via your laptop:

1. From your laptop, log into webex.fscj.edu and click "Start" or "Join" to launch Webex.

2. At the setup screen, in the bottom left corner, click on "Use Video System".

3. Next click on ”Enter a Video Address".

4. Enter the address of the TelePresence Conference Room from which you are calling:

  • tp-atc-t116@fscj.edu  (ATC)

  • tp-knt-f126@fscj.edu (Kent)

  • tp-ccn-a101e@fscj.edu (Cecil North)

  • tp-nth-c136@fscj.edu (North)

  • tp-ncc-a111@fscj.edu (Nassau)

5. Click "Start Meeting" and wait a few seconds.

6. The TelePresence Endpoint will then be called. Answer the incoming call from WebEx, then press "1" when prompted in order to join the meeting with TelePresence video and audio

**Please note that if you record your WebEx meeting, only the shared content and the audio bridge will be recorded.  The camera video panes will not be included in the recording.
