When using the Cisco WebEx module in your Canvas course, you may encounter an error message indicating that your WebEx site does not support your chosen Host Center. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to resolve this issue.

If you see the error message that states, "Your WebEx site may not support your chosen Host Center," follow the steps below to address it.

Steps to Resolve the Issue

To resolve this issue, you need to reauthorize WebEx in your Canvas course:

1. Access the Cisco WebEx Module

  • In your Canvas course, navigate to the Cisco WebEx module.

2. Open the Setup Tab

  • Click on the Setup tab within the Cisco WebEx module.

3. Authorize with LMS

  • Scroll down to the section labeled Authorize with LMS.

  • Click on the Authorize button.

    • After successful authorization, the button should be greyed out and display the status Authorized.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and continue using the Cisco WebEx module within your Canvas course without further errors. If the problem persists, consider contacting your institution's technical support for additional assistance.
