WebEx: Recordings

Webex Recording Limits:

  • Recording Retention is 730 days (2 years).  Warning: recordings older than the retention period will be purged from the Webex Cloud.

  • Before you reach your retention period limit, download your important .mp4 recordings to your computer.

  • After you download your meeting recording, we recommend you upload it to Sharepoint which allows you to share the file to those that still need it.

  • As of March 2022, you can no longer record meetings directly to your computer.  All Webex recordings will record in Webex Cloud and can then be accessed in your Webex hub.
