Why it's important: Each iPad is setup to be used as a personal device, which includes entering personal information and passwords. When someone is returning or no longer using the device, it's imperative the device is securely erased to protect both the individual and the data that is on the iPad.

This guide will walk you through the steps to back up your iPad to iCloud and securely erase all content and settings.

Select Settings
Select iCloud (on left column)
Ensure iCloud is on/setup
Select Backup (on right column)
Ensure iCloud backup is On (green)
