Manage Security Groups
Use the following tutorial to:
Signing In to GroupID
To access groups, go to groups.fscj.edu in a web browser. Type in your FSCJ user name, then click Continue.
Next, type your FSCJ password, then click Continue.
Viewing “Owned” groups
Once logged in, you will see the list of groups you own under the “My Groups” tab on the “Groups” page.
Viewing group members
Click on the group you wish to access.
To view group members, click on the Members tab.
Add Group Members
Click on the group you wish to access.
To manage members, click on the Members tab.
Then click the “Add” button, and type the user’s name or username into the text box. Then click the Add button for the user you would like to add. If the user is already a member of the group, they will still show up, but clicking the Add button again will just mark them as added. No change for that user will actually take place.
Once done managing group members, click the Save button to save your changes.
Remove Group Members
Click on the group you wish to access.
To manage members, click on the Members tab.
To remove a member, select the user with the checkbox by their name, and hit the Remove button.
Then click the Please Confirm button to confirm that you would like to remove the selected user(s) from the group.
Once done managing group members, click the Save button to save your changes.
Add Additional Owners
Click on the group you wish to access.
To manage owners, click on the Owner tab.
Then click the “Add” button, and type the user’s name or username into the text box. Then click the Add button for the user you would like to add. If the user is already an owner of the group, they will still show up, but clicking the Add button again will just mark them as added. No change for that user will actually take place.
Once done managing group owners, click the Save button to save your changes.
Remove Additional Owners
Click on the group you wish to access.
To manage owners, click on the Owner tab.
To remove an owner, select the user with the checkbox by their name, and hit the Remove button.
Then click the Please Confirm button to confirm that you would like to remove the selected user(s) as owners of the group.
Once done managing group owners, click the Save button to save your changes.
