Canvas-WebEx: Your WebEx authorization or WebEx token has expired.

If you encounter either of the following messages when trying to use the Cisco WebEx module in your Canvas course…

  • Your WebEx token has expired.  Please use the log out button in the upper right of your Virtual Meetings window to log out of WebEx and sign back in.

  • Your WebEx authorization has expired.  Please reauthorize WebEx.

Do the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. In your Canvas course, in the Cisco WebEx module, under the Virtual Meetings tab, click on the logout button

  2. Next, click on the Sign In With WebEx Meetings button.

  3. Next, click on the Accept button and give Cisco WebEx Education Connector access permissions.
