The updates highlighted below provide an explanation of the change that each user will see as you log into PeopleSoft (my.fscj.edu).
Banner Layout
The banner layout now displays two new sections, a global section at the top and a contextual section at the bottom.
While the global section of the banner contains common controls, such as the back button, quick access bar items, global search, the home and notifications buttons, the actions menu, and the Navbar, the contextual section displays the title of the content and the contextual actions in the More Actions menu.
Quick Access Bar
The quick access bar buttons are located on the banner and provide one-click access to your Favorites and Recently Visited items.
· Favorites denoted by heart icon and Most Recent by clock icon
· Most Recent display the last 10 pages recently visited
Menu and Content Search
One-click access for easy navigation and search capabilities. When navigating to dashboards and transaction pages, Global Search is in its muted form, and you must select the global search bar to activate it and begin searching
Navbar and Menu
Several enhancements to Navbar makes navigation easier to include the new icons: (1) Recently Visited, (2) Favorites, (3) Menu Items.
Menu items are displayed in alphabetical order. (1) New icons distinguish menu folders from menu items. A menu folder means there are additional menu items. (2) Once you drill down in a folder, you will see breadcrumbs that will allow you to select and move back levels.
Process Monitor
The Range hyperlink can be used to specify an instance or a range of instances by which to limit the process requests that appear in the list.
New options are available to reset the saved filters using a Reset button and the option to clear all filters using a Clear button.
The Process List grid on Process Monitor now includes:
Run Control ID: which helps you to identify processes with same process name but different Run Control ID.
Action: used to apply options based on the run status and distribution status of the process. You can also use the Actions Menu to navigate to the Message Log and View Log/Trace links.
Select to view a list of actions that can be performed on the process based on the current run status of the process.
The options enabled here will be the same as the actions available under Update Process of the Process Detail page.
