Setting up iOS Mail App for Office 365 Exchange

This guide will walk you through setting up the iOS native mail client to access your Office 365 Exchange account (Outlook) on an iPhone or iPad.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Your FSCJ email address and password.

  • Access to two-factor authentication if your organization uses it.

Steps to Set Up

  1. Open Settings

    • Tap the Settings icon on your home screen.

Open Settings app.
  1. Access Mail Settings

    • Scroll down and tap on Mail.

Select Mail.
  1. Manage Accounts

    • Tap Accounts to view existing email accounts.

Select Accounts.
  1. Add a New Account

    • Tap Add Account to start setting up a new email account.

Select Add Account.
  1. Select Email Provider

    • Choose Microsoft Exchange from the list of email providers.

Select Microsoft Exchange.
  1. Enter Email Address

    • Type in your FSCJ email address.

    • For the description, enter "FSCJ Exchange."

    • Tap Next to proceed.

    • A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your login. Tap Sign In.

Sign into FSCJ account.
  1. Complete Two-Factor Authentication

    • Complete any two-factor authentication prompts as required.

  2. Grant Permissions

    • If prompted, grant the necessary permissions by tapping Accept.

  1. Configure Sync Settings

    • Choose the items you want to sync with your device (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc.).

    • You can keep the default settings and tap Save to finalize.

Save changes.
  1. Open Mail App

    • Open the iOS Mail app to access your FSCJ email account.
