Faculty & Staff: 2-Factor Enrollment for Personal Email Addresses

** Please note that this knowledge base article only applies if you have previously registered a personal email address with IT. Our vendor, OneLogin, does not allow self-service registration of a personal email address for employee accounts during enrollment at this time. Due to the fact that OneLogin does not provide adequate messaging to inform you that you do not have an email address registered, we do not present the factor to all employees, and instead offer an internally developed self-service portal at https://portal.fscj.edu/OneLoginWeb

Begin Setup

Open a browser window on your computer and visit my.fscj.edu. After entering your username and password, you will be presented with the option to either Begin Setup or Skip For Now.  Choose [Begin Setup] to enroll in 2-factor authentication.

** You want to make sure you have your personal email open before you click on “OneLogin Personal Email ” as the code that is being emailed is time-sensitive and expires quickly

 

Continue with enrollment by selecting OneLogin Personal Email from your computer browser, from the screen shown below

A confirmation code will be sent to the personal email address you provided IT; you will need to type in the confirmation code received in your personal inbox on the screen shown below.

Click Continue to complete the enrollment of your personal email used as a factor.
