Managers: How do I terminate an employee in myFSCJ?

To terminate an employee who reports to you, first log in to my.fscj.edu with your College credentials. 

  • Select the Manager Self Service option from the Center Navigation drop down menu. 

  • Click the Update Team Information tile. 

  • Choose Terminate Employee from the left-side menu; the list of employees who report directly or indirectly to you will show. 

  • Select the employee you will terminate. 

  • Enter the Transaction Date, which is the day after the employee’s last day of work at FSCJ, whether or not they are on leave during their last day. 

  • Enter the termination Reason, choosing from the list available. 

  • Use the Guided Self Service, clicking on the Next button in the top right corner of the screen. 

  • Enter Comments as necessary. 

  • Click on the Submit button in the top right corner of the screen. 

  • Once the next level supervisor has approved the termination, the request will be routed to HR Information Management who will enter the termination in PeopleSoft.
