How to Change Your Academic Plan (Program of Study)

Go to www.fscj.edu and locate the A-Z Index

Click on the letter "P" or Scroll until you locate the Program Plan Change Form

Download and complete the form

  • Note: A handwritten signature is required. Digital signatures will not be accepted.

Submit your form by following the instructions below:

  • Go to help.fscj.edu

  • Click on Submit a Ticket

  • Choose MyFSCJ - Students as the Category

  • Choose Student Records as the Subcategory

  • Enter Program Plan Change From as the Short Description

  • Attach the form and click Submit

Your ticket will be reviewed and processed by the Student Records Department. To check the status of your ticket go to help.fscj.edu, click on My Tickets, locate your ticket and open it up by clicking on the Incident Number. You will then see any comments, updates, and be able to communicate directly with Student Records through your ticket.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Log in to myFSCJ

  • Open your web browser and go to the myFSCJ login page.

  • Enter your student credentials (username and password) to access the portal.

Step 2: Access Academic Progress

  • Navigate to the ‘Student Center’ within the myFSCJ portal.

  • Click on ‘Academic Progress & My Advisor’ to view your academic details and advisor information.

Step 3: Initiate Program Plan Change Request

  • Select ‘Program Plan Change Request’ from the available options.

Step 4: Submit Change Request

  • Choose ‘Change My Program Plan’.

  • Select the appropriate options from each drop-down menu:

    • Start Term: Choose the term you wish to begin your new program.

    • Academic Program: Select the desired academic program.

    • Academic Plan: Choose the specific academic plan you wish to follow.

  • After selecting the desired options, click ‘Submit’ to send your request to your assigned advisor for review.

Step 5: Track Your Request

  • After submission, the status under ‘View My Submission’ will change to ‘In Approval Process’.

  • Your request will first be reviewed by your assigned advisor and then forwarded to the Student Records department for final processing and update to your academic record.

Important Considerations

  • One Request at a Time: You can only submit one program plan change request at a time. Additional requests cannot be submitted until the initial request is fully processed and approved.

  • Contact Your Advisor: Direct any questions or concerns regarding the change in your program of study to your assigned advisor for personalized guidance and support.
