Availability

The FSCJ wireless network, "FSCJ-Wireless," is accessible to all enrolled students, faculty, and staff of at Florida State College at Jacksonville.  All users of the wireless network agree to By connecting to the network, all users agree to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and will operate with these guidelines.

Wireless Configuration Settings

Due to multiple types the variety of devices and different wireless settings for WIFI, we don’t have specific instructions for each device . Below are the required configuration options to enter on a device if it must be manually entered or for troubleshooting.Settings for WIFIare not provided. Connect to FSCJ-Wireless?

Follow the instructions below to gain access to the college wireless networkTo connect to the FSCJ-Wireless network, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on Your Device: Ensure your laptop or mobile device is powered on.

  2. Select the Network: Go to your device’s wireless SSID - settings and select the SSID "FSCJ-Wireless."

  3. Enter Credentials: When prompted, enter your FSCJ login credentials (these are the same credentials used to log into the Employee Portal).

  4. Trust the Certificate: You may be asked to Trust trust the certificate. Click Click Continue/Accept/Connect to allow for installation of the certificateConnect to install it.

    you may be asked for the username and password of your computer.

NOTE: This is the account used to log onto your computer and may not be the same as your FSCJ credentials.

  1. You have now authenticated to the College’s wireless network.

 

    • Users: You may need to enter your computer's username and password (this may differ from your FSCJ credentials).

Once authenticated, you will have access to the college’s wireless network.

Why Can’t I Log Into Wireless?

Several issues can prevent successful connection to the network:

  • Incorrect Password or Timeout: If you enter your password incorrectly, you will be notified

Enter the correct WIFI
