Introduction
This article provides step-by-step instructions for students, staff, and full-time faculty at FSCJ to obtain the free version of Microsoft Office 365. Steps to Obtain Microsoft Office 365
For Students, Staff, and Full-Time Faculty:
Access the Office 365 Portal:
Click on this link: Microsoft Office 365.
Enter Email Address:
Enter your FSCJ student or employee* email address.
Login:
Login with your FSCJ credentials.
Open App Launcher:
Click the App Launcher at the top-left and select Microsoft 365.
Navigate to Installation:
On the 'Welcome to Microsoft 365' home page, click the 'Install and more' drop-down box and select 'Install Microsoft 365 apps'.
Install Office:
You should then be directed to the 'Install Office' link. Click it to start the installation process.
Choose Organizational Account:
During the installation process, choose Organizational Account as the type and register your Office 365 Suite using your student or employee* email address and password.
*Note: Employees will use their friendly name email address as their username.
Accessing Office Mobile for iOS and Android
Download Office Mobile:
For iPhones and Android phones, download Office Mobile from the app store.
For iPads, select “iPhone Only” within the app store to download the iPhone version.
Sign In:
The apps themselves are free through the app store but require an active subscription to use. Sign in with your student or employee credentials to get started.
